What Purchase Protection May Cover

Purchase Protection

Order Not Received

The tracking information shows no confirmed delivery, or the shipment has not arrived within the expected delivery period.

Damaged Part

The part arrives damaged, broken, or unusable because of its condition or delivery handling.

Incorrect Part

You receive a different product, part number, quantity, brand, or specification from the item ordered.

Not as Described

The condition, compatibility, features, or included components differ significantly from the listing.

Missing Items

The order is incomplete or advertised accessories, fittings, or components are missing.

Unauthorized Payment Issue

A payment connected to your account requires review because you did not recognise or approve it.

Check the Details Before You Buy

A few careful checks can prevent compatibility and delivery problems.
  • Confirm the part name, condition, brand, SKU, OEM number, dimensions, and vehicle compatibility.
  • Review the seller’s profile, ratings, verification status, and Partvend history.
  • Check the total price, shipping method, delivery estimate, taxes, and possible import charges.

Keep messages and payments on the Partvend.

Inspect Your Order Promptly

Check the packaging and part before confirming receipt.

After delivery, inspect the shipment for visible damage, missing packages, incorrect part numbers, compatibility issues, or missing accessories.

Keep the packaging, shipping label, delivery documents, and the part in its received condition until you are satisfied that the order is correct.

Do not confirm receipt solely to unlock the dispute option when the shipment has not actually arrived. Delivery issues should be reported through Support.

  1. Open Your Order

Go to your Buyer Dashboard and select the affected order.

  2. Review the Order Status

Check the product, delivery, payment, and tracking information.

  3. Raise a Dispute

Select Raise Dispute when the option is available and choose the reason that best describes the problem.

  4. Add Evidence

Upload clear photographs, videos, messages, receipts, tracking records, or other relevant documents.

  5. Follow the Review

Respond promptly when additional information is requested and check the dispute details for updates.

  6. View the Outcome

The final decision and any refund or payment update will appear in the dispute details and payment history.

Provide Clear Supporting Evidence

Complete and relevant information helps the Partvend review your case fairly.

Do not edit, misrepresent, or submit evidence unrelated to the order.

Purchase Protection Has Limits

Protection may not apply when:

  • Payment was completed outside the Partvend
  • The issue was reported after the permitted dispute period
  • The buyer confirmed receipt without checking the order
  • The listing clearly disclosed the condition or defect
  • The wrong part was ordered despite accurate compatibility information
  • The item was altered, installed, damaged, or returned without approval
  • Evidence is incomplete, misleading, or cannot be verified
  • The claim involves buyer’s remorse rather than a genuine order issue

Partvend decisions depend on the circumstances and evidence available for each case.
