Car Parts Marketplace charges a platform fee to support secure payments, order management, payment protection, dispute handling, and marketplace support.
The fee is calculated automatically from the part price and shown in the order summary before payment is completed.
A flat $5 platform fee applies.

The platform fee is recorded with the order and taken into account when the eligible seller payout is calculated.
Seller payout calculations may also exclude taxes and shipping charges. The project’s payment flow calculates the seller amount from the order total after deducting tax, shipping, and the platform fee.
When an order is cancelled or a dispute results in an approved refund, any related fee adjustment will be reflected in the final payment and transaction records.
The exact refund amount depends on the order status, approved resolution, and circumstances of the request.
